Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – As of May 4th, Myrtle Beach area beaches, accommodations and businesses are beginning to open to the public. Public beach accesses and state parks are open with social distancing guidelines in place.
Outer Banks – Dare and Hyde Counties will lift restrictions on entry for visitors beginning Saturday May 16th, including the towns of Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head and Manteo, Hatteras Island, Roanoke Island, the Dare mainland, the Currituck County Outer banks and Ocracoke Island.
General Travel Guidelines
- Social Distancing guidelines are still in place in most if not all areas and specific restrictions are changing frequently
- Bring a mask for all family members, just in case
- CDC recommends you do not travel if you are sick or were recently exposed (within 14 days) to COVID-19
